Back in the Saddle

Well friends I know we have been gone for a while, I have so much to tell you about. Vacation, a new puppy, more adventures of SteBoo drunk and disorderly, Memorial Day party.....So lets get started. A week ago Steve and I went to Colorado Springs for a weekend getaway. We both were a bit stressed and feeling couped up and needed a bit of an outing. I have to say the trip turned super interesting super fast! I a minor major surgery need and we tried to handle it ourselves at the hotel with a straight pin and a flask of Jack Daniels Whiskey.

Then when that didn't work we went to the emergency room and met a nurse who was crazy-but awesome! Then comes the favorite part of our journey, we went on an innocent trip to the land of Walmart and got a Dog. Now this Dog was and is unlike any other dog in the world! He is so adorable, so silly and very obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed. After much debate on his name....
"Applesauce," "Noodle," "Doodle," "Spanky," and McLovin, we settled on Gov'Na' McLovin Crack....now, I know what you are thinking, but its not that kind of crack he loves all small places to hide-like cracks. Here are some photos and videos for your viewing pleasure!

He has been a complete joy to have around and very entertaining: I call the video clip "LION DOG"

Either way he is a joy to have around and we adore him! I am sure you will be sing many more pics and videos of Gov'Na' in the months to come!

And last, but not least is about a little Memorial Day gathering we had yesterday to celebrate those we had lost and the lives we share today! We celebrated well! I cooked Italian, Steve bought enough alcohol to intoxicate Cuba and Steve's awesome Sister, Jen came, taught me a little bit about my fella that I didn't know-like he was an ornery brother as a child and still is now. JP-"The Pope"-also came and he was awesome too! he seemed to know how to push the few buttons my guy has in a loving way! It felt nice to have "back-up"! LOL....Seriously, some really great people! We ate until we burst, drank until we were buzzed-well Steve drank until his words were mixed up and his speech slurred and his cheeks turned a rosy pink! Then he got his ass kicked at Wii by Jen! Totally Awesome!!! The day was well spent, even though there were a lot of no shows, we had a blasty-blast! Here are some more Pics and Videos and I promise I will be back tomorrow! Cheers and Ciao!
